The truth is, they had made a whole lot more than $1000 a day but that is not the purpose of discussion here on website. What I am exceedingly more curious about, and so should you be, is just how they went about accumulating their immense wealth. Granted, their talents were numerous, each one within his own right, I was however searching for that one defining act, or a common binding tie, which allowed them to die wealthy beyond compare.
King Solomon was described along side of two other historic rulers, who were also described as being part of the wisest among kings as well as being among the wealthiest men in the history of the world, they were Egyptian Pharaoh, Khufu, Who had ended slave labour for the building of Pyramids choosing rather to extract a taxation system from his wealthy peers.
Then there is Emperor Qin Shi Huang of China, who had, among other things, put an end to the genocidal attacks among his people, by creating a spirit of compassion honour and unity among his people by forming a unitary system of governance.
He also installed a standardized writing system as well as a system for measurement. Perhaps his better known improvement in protecting his people from attack, was when he had started building the Great Wall of China
Khufu too, had an amazing ability to lead and coordinate his thousands of subjects. Current theories espouse that the building of the Great Pyramid was not achieved by slave labor as other previous structures in Egypt were built... Instead, the project defrayed taxes, which were paid in the form of goods and services as there was no monetary system. Also, due to the annual inundation of the Nile there was always a yearly segment of the population that had some time that they could spend in their homes.
